Is it any surprise that Shane Warne continues to earn a reported six figure salary despite retiring from cricket?
Shane Warne has to considered one of the few fortunate cricketers to enjoy a well to do pay cheque since retiring. At a time when cricketers are prolonging their careers for endorsements, Warne is enjoying a luxurious life beyond the game.
Not only does Warne have a big role with the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, he is also involved in the commentary box but it is his agent’s belief that not too many networks can “afford” Warne for long stints.
Warne continues to endorse beer brands, hair transplant clinics amongst others, estimated to be about twenty. This even without playing!
These days Warne is involved with poker in a big way and rumour has it that though he may have a television series show of his own in time to come, he intends to make himself big on the poker scene as he has on cricket.
