Where are you off to, England?

It appears John Buchanan is already having his effect on the England dressing room. But no, they are not running away, not yet anyway.
The England team, it is learnt, is heading out of the country to a secret destination as part of the preparatory process ahead of the Ashes.
The England team members have been asked to come to Birmingham, keeping their passports handy. It is a clear indication that they will be skipping the country for a couple of days.
While it is unclear whether they will be subjected to cricket drills, the move is seen more as a team building initiation and the bonding experience that could prove handy against the Australians in rough times. It was a method employed by the Australian team during Buchanan’s reign as coach and it is now devised clearly to help the team integrate with Andy Flower in tow.
Whether they skip to the city of romance, Paris, or a historical location like Belgium, it appears obvious that England are willing to try anything that will help regain the Ashes, as they did briefly in the 2005 Ashes series.
Australia have had a different kind of camp back home, a counselling session with their families to plausibly avoid the fiasco involving Brett Lee’s divorce from Liz Kemp or the alcohol addiction of Andrew Symonds.
It appears a war is on hand. One can only hope it can live up to the preparations.
