The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) is taking India headlong into battle by indirectly pointing to India’s selfish monetary interests to support everything about cricket that it has an interest in.
The WICB chief, Conrad Hunte, has reiterated the well speculated notion that India would be foremost in the move to oppose a Test championship that would seriously hamper the revenue aspect where all board members would be paid from a pool.
The WICB has also expressed reservations about the ICC being arm twisted to give its blessing to the IPL while ignoring the ICL stating that the board must be getting paid a share of the pie to stay mum over the issues cropping up because of it.
