Travis Dowlin’s century was not enough to stop the, well, unstoppable Bangladesh, rain or no rain.
Windor Park, Roseau, Sabina saw history being made as Bangladesh added the ODI series victory to their rare Test victory against the West Indies. Chasing a mammoth 275 for victory, Bangladesh were once again led ably by stand in Bangladesh captain, Shakib Al Hasan, whose smart sixty-five went well with Mohammad Ashraful’s half century as Bangladesh rounded off the rain interrupted match with six balls to spare.
This must be a worrying sight for West Indies but hopefully it is another shot in the arm for Bangladesh cricket in a pointer to the future.
