Younis Khan Stirring Up Pak With Afridi's Ouster from Selection, Thinking of T20
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Nov 5 2009

Younis Khan may have been reinstated as captain of Pakistan cricket. But his moves could backfire on him.
Younis Khan had expressed interest in making a comeback to the Pakistan twenty20 team. At the same time, he is said to have influenced the decision to take the team manager and vice captain, in this case, Shahid Afridi, off the roster of people who decide the team, saving it for the captain, coach and selection committee.
While both men have denied any rifts, the ICC Champions Trophy 2009 in South Africa painted Younis Khan in a poor light and with reports of some of the senior members of the squad being discontent with Younis Khan’s style of functioning.
Now it appears that Younis’ statement of wanting to be in the team if the team allowed is not going down well and being viewed as a disruptive tendency amongst cricket circles in Pakistan.
