Yuvraj_Singh scripts his name to the bunch of cricketers who hit six sixes in an over that includes Sir Garfield Sobers, Ravi Shastri and Herschelle Gibbs. Setting a record for the Twenty20, the left-hander batted as a man that could propel Stuart Broad’s ball to any zone he wished, guiding India to an impressive 218-4, that always looked beyond England’s reach.
Opening duo Gambhir and Sehwag added half centuries to their name and stuck to their task of not loosing early wickets, to set a stand of 136. It was all left for Yuvraj who bundled 58 from mere 16 balls, adding the fastest 50 in international cricket that came in 12 balls.
South Africa’s win over New Zealand that already eliminated England from the current world series, showed some brave hitting but were always struggling to keep up with the rate. Starting well, Maddy and Solanki put on vital 53 before Pathan claimed the first of three wickets.
Solanki dropped by India on a couple of occasions top-scored with 43 as Pietersen who slammed Sharma and Harbhajan to give his team a glimmer of hope, made 39. England finally finished 200 for the loss of six wickets, falling short of 18 runs of the victory target thereby keeping India’s hopes alive for a semi-final berth.
It was Justin Kemp that blasted the hosts to a six-wicket win over New Zealand. Remarkable figures of 4-17 from Morkel helped limit the Kiwis to 153-8 despite Craig McMillan’s valiant 48. At one stage, the Proteas were stumbling on 45-3 but Kemp and Boucher turned the game around with a stand of 65.
Kemp who earlier, sneaked an lbw decision for six got on with teammate Pollock to wrap up the innings with five balls to spare. Kemp made a blusterous 89 off 56 balls that included six sixes while Pollock contributed 16.

It was the precious moment...when he hit the six sixes....
And I feel proud for him...to b the part of it by seeing that moment...
Actually I was not watching the match....coz I was giving classes..to my students...but at casual times...I used get to see the score..But..that time when I came..he had hit his 1st six..then automatically..I drop to see the other balls of that over...and I became the part of that dramatic moment....
Really..I am very prod to be an Indian...
But felt sorry..that Indian cannot keep the same...potential all the time...
