Yuvraj Singh’s face pretty (or is it Preity) much says it all in the picture above.
The man with big ambitions to lead the Indian cricket team as captain is revealing startling experiences as captain of the Kings XI Punjab, Mohali team.
Yuvraj Singh came out in public to state that captaincy was having a frustrating effect on him. He states he experiences bouts of anger, especially when the team is not doing well, but he is mostly unaware of where or how the anger emerges.
But he has also stated he is not bothered about his mood swings so long as Mohali get across the boundary ropes victorious.
The Kings XI Punjab team are having yet another difficult IPL season, this time in South Africa instead of India. Last year, they lost their momentum after the loss of Brett Lee and now in the absence of last year’s prolific scorer, Shaun Marsh, and fellow Australia James Hopes, are struggling to make it to the semi finals of the IPL 2.
His revelations though would not paint him in a good light, especially since he would be one of the front runners to take over the captaincy should Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s golden job die on him. While Virender Sehwag was the preferred choice for captaincy earlier, Yuvraj would very much be in the picture. His father, Yograj Singh, had previously commented on his son’s disappointment at not being offered the captaincy. Wonder how this comment will be viewed!
