Yuvraj, Sreesanth Join Injured List of Dravid; Sachin Suffers a Scare
Sreelata Yellamrazu | Jan 26 2010

Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be dreading the final two days in Bangladesh. The injuries have been soaring and he would not want another man down before India’s tour of Bangladesh is over.

The sight of Sachin Tendulkar walking off the field with his arm being attended to by Indian physiotherapist, Nitin Patel, would not have comforted the Indian captain at all.
After all, Dhoni saw Ashish Nehra suffer an ankle injury in the Idea Cup final against Sri Lanka. Then he himself suffered a back spasm that kept him out of the first Test in Chittagong. Keeping him company warming the bench was Harbhajan Singh out with a stiff neck.
His return to the team has seen V.V.S. Laxman suffer a hand injury that saw him take the flight back home. Following suit was Sreesanth who suffered a hamstring injury.
Yuvraj Singh has been the non-player of the second Test in Mirpur, having torn a ligament in his hand. Rahul Dravid’s frcatured jaw makes him a doubtful starter along with Yuvraj for the Test series against South Africa.
The trend seems such that Dhoni will be grateful if he can take the flight with his team with no further injury stories trailing them.
