India are likely to miss their spearhead Zaheer Khan for the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa.
India could be paying the price for playing an injured Zaheer Khan in the ICC World Twenty20 in England. Zaheer Khan underwent a shoulder surgery that will require a lengthy recovery time necessitating between six to eight weeks that could mean he would be unfit for the ICC Champions Trophy.
Zaheer first injured his shoulder in the IPL 2 in South Africa while playing for the Mumbai Indians. Now it appears that India will have to find a replacement for him.
